TRIBE is the governance token of Fei Protocol, a next-generation algorithmic stablecoin protocol, while FEI is the stablecoin of the protocol. The core idea of Fei Protocol is to anchor FEI to the US dollar at a 1:1 price through Protocol Controlled Value (PCV) and direct incentive mechanisms. This gives rise to two trading systems that users can participate in: direct incentives and PCV. As a governance token, TRIBE allows community members to vote on the future direction/upgrades of the platform and control the DAO's treasury.
