According to Techbuild report, a major bank in Kenya recently suffered a severe internal attack, resulting in approximately 500 million Kenyan Shillings (about 4 million USD) being stolen. The bank's IT system's external contractor manipulated the card management system to generate virtual cards and link them to a mobile wallet, then swiftly transferred the funds. The stolen funds were laundered through USDT into multiple offshore wallets.
