Ark Invest Prediction: By 2030, BTC Price Will Surge to $760,000, Market Cap Will Reach $16 Trillion
BlockBeats News, January 22, Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, predicted in its latest "Big Ideas 2026" report that the Bitcoin market cap will reach about $16 trillion by 2030, and the overall crypto market size will grow to about $28 trillion. Based on the fixed supply of 21 million Bitcoins, this market cap implies a price of about $761,900 per Bitcoin, representing a roughly 765% increase from the current price of about $88,000.
Ark Invest stated that Bitcoin is maturing into a new institutional asset class, primarily serving as a digital store of value. Currently, U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs and publicly traded companies hold about 12% of the total supply of Bitcoin. The company expects Bitcoin to dominate the cryptocurrency market, growing at a compound annual growth rate of about 63% over the next five years. (The Block)
