BlackRock: Currently, there are no plans to launch XRP or SOL ETFs
BlockBeats News, August 9th, on Friday, the world's largest asset management company BlackRock explicitly stated to The Block that there is currently no plan to launch XRP or SOL ETFs. A company spokesperson stated: "BlackRock currently has no arrangements to introduce XRP or SOL ETFs." Currently, BlackRock's listed cryptocurrency ETF products only include Bitcoin and Ethereum.
It is worth noting that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is evaluating multiple XRP ETF application proposals, while reviewing dozens of cryptocurrency ETFs including SOL, DOGE, and others. During the Trump administration, the SEC showed a more open attitude towards digital assets, and the market interprets that the possibility of these funds being approved is increasing.
