BlockBeats News, December 23rd, according to the Financial Times, ByteDance plans to further expand its multi-billion-dollar investment in the field of artificial intelligence next year to keep up with the pace in the United States. According to two informed sources, the company has preliminarily planned to invest 160 billion yuan (about 23 billion U.S. dollars) in capital expenditure in 2026. This figure is an increase from the 150 billion yuan invested in AI infrastructure this year.

The sources stated that about half of the total amount will be used to purchase advanced semiconductors needed for developing AI models and applications. They added that ByteDance has allocated 85 billion yuan of the budget for next year's AI processor procurement. (Golden Finance)
