According to Dragonfly's data lead hildobby, Polymarket's weekly trading volume hit a historic high of around $1.3 billion, surpassing even the trading volume during the U.S. election. At the same time, the platform achieved transaction volume growth across all categories, including:

Political categories growing by 139%;

Sports events up by 320%;

Cryptocurrency categories rising by 195%;

Cultural categories increasing by 670%;

Financial categories reaching a high of 200%;

Science and technology growing by 90%.

Furthermore, the total value on the platform (open interest/total locked value + USDC balance) has reached $517 million, a 2.9x increase since the beginning of 2025. Polymarket had 19.9 million website visits in November, setting a new record for 2025, and its U.S. version of the app even temporarily topped the sports app rankings during the internal testing phase.
