Ethereum Foundation proposes L1 zkEVM real-time proof standard to promote mainstream zero-knowledge proof
Odaily News Sophia Gold, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, published an article proposing to launch L1 zkEVM within a year by executing proofs on multiple zkVMs and verifying them by validators. The goal of this solution is to achieve real-time proofs, which are defined as: latency ≤ 10 seconds, 128-bit security, proof size ≤ 300KiB, and home verification is feasible, etc., to promote Ethereum to become the worlds largest ZK application platform.
