「Fed's Microphone」: Powell Refuses Predetermined Rate Cut Path

BlockBeats News, July 31st, "Fed's Whisperer" Nick Timiraos posted on social media that Fed Chair Powell has taken a "tough defense stance" on whether to cut rates in September.

When asked provocatively "What would trigger a rate cut in September," Powell said, "I will not give a specific answer. We need to observe the evolution of the data, there are multiple possibilities. We will make decisions based on comprehensive data analysis and risk-balanced assessment."
