BlockBeats News, January 5, 2025, by the end of 2025, the total inflow of funds into global digital asset investment products reached $47.2 billion, slightly below the record of $48.7 billion set in 2024. The year also started off strong, with a $671 million inflow of funds last Friday, combined with the outflow from the previous week, resulting in a total weekly inflow of $582 million.

In 2025, the United States became the country with the largest inflow of funds, totaling $47.2 billion, a 12% decrease from 2024. The most significant growth in fund inflows was in Germany, with $2.5 billion inflow in 2025 compared to an outflow of $43 million in 2024. Canada also saw a similar recovery, with an inflow of $1.1 billion last year, compared to an outflow of $603 million in 2024. Switzerland's investment demand saw a slight increase, with an inflow of $775 million in 2025, a 11.5% year-on-year increase.

Bitcoin suffered a severe setback last year, with a 35% decrease in fund inflow. The fund inflow volume for 2025 is projected to be only $26.9 billion. Price decline led to a $105 million inflow in 2025 into investment products shorting Bitcoin, although such products still belong to a niche market, with total Assets under Management (AuM) of only $139 million.
