BlockBeats News, July 7th, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey launched the decentralized peer-to-peer messaging app bitchat. The app runs on top of a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh network, supporting ephemeral encrypted message transmission, fully offline chat, and the ability to communicate in anti-censorship and disconnected environments. Messages can be relayed through nodes, reaching up to 300 meters away.
