Polygon: Completion of Update Addressing Transaction Finality Issue
BlockBeats News, September 11, the Polygon Foundation announced the completion of an update to address the transaction finalization issue. The hard fork has been successfully completed, and milestone and state synchronization are now back to normal. Checkpoints are in progress, and the consensus finality of Polygon PoS has been fully restored.
On the 10th, the Polygon Foundation stated in the afternoon: "There was a temporary delay in finality. Although the blockchain is still running, and blocks and checkpoints are being continuously generated, due to the milestone issue, there is currently a 10 to 15-minute delay in transaction finalization. A solution has been found and is being deployed to all validator nodes and service providers."
