Privacy project Horizen reboots on Base as Layer 3 network

BlockBeats News, December 9th, according to The Block, Horizen's Layer 3 network has officially deployed its mainnet on Base, completing the latest phase in the evolution of this long-standing privacy network.

Despite this Tuesday's launch coinciding with a renewed interest in "privacy coins," Horizen had already started the transition from Layer 1 to Layer 3 back in February, with the DAO previously resolving to gradually phase out the old chain.

Interest rate decisions by major central banks such as the Federal Reserve are significant macroeconomic events impacting global financial markets, directly influencing market liquidity expectations and risk appetite.
