Singapore's DBS Bank Launches Tokenized Structured Note on Ethereum
BlockBeats News, August 21st, Singapore's largest bank DBS announced the issuance of tokenized structured notes on the Ethereum public chain, targeting qualified and institutional investors on Singapore local exchanges ADDX, DigiFT, and HydraX. The first product is a participation note linked to cryptocurrency, settling in cash when prices rise and limiting losses when prices fall. The note unit has been reduced from a traditional $100,000 to $1,000, enhancing liquidity and trading convenience.
Reportedly, the trading volume of related products exceeded $1 billion in the first half of 2025, with a nearly 60% quarter-on-quarter growth in Q2. DBS will subsequently expand to stocks and credit-linked notes. (CoinDesk)
