Solana Network Activates 20% Block Size Increase Upgrade
BlockBeats News, July 24th, according to @martypartymusic, the Solana network yesterday increased the block size by 20% based on the SIMD-0256 proposal.
This upgrade raised the block limit from 50 million compute units (CUs) to 60 million CUs, allowing each block to accommodate more transactions, thereby increasing network throughput and overall performance, with users noticeably experiencing faster transaction speeds.
