Tether CEO: 40% of the entire network's blockchain transaction fee consumption is from USDT transfers
BlockBeats News, August 6th, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed in a post that "40% of the entire blockchain transaction fees are used for USDT transfers. This covers 9 chains: Ethereum, Tron, TON, Solana, BSC, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism."
In emerging markets, millions of people are using Tether's digital US dollar, USDT, every day to protect their families from local currency devaluation and inflation. In the future, blockchains focusing on reducing gas fees and supporting fee payment in USDT will lead the world."
