The South Korean court has ordered Wemade to compensate a former employee approximately $7.14 million in arrears.
BlockBeats News, August 22, according to Nwes1, the Seoul Central District Court has made a partial ruling in favor of the plaintiffs regarding a compensation lawsuit brought against Wemade by current and former employees. The court has ruled that Wemade must compensate them a total of 99.3928 billion Korean won (approximately $7.14 million).
In July last year, 27 current and former executives and employees of Wemade filed a lawsuit against the company, seeking 161.7648 billion Korean won in compensation. Those who had worked at Wemade's subsidiary, Wemade Tree, stated that the company had promised payment but failed to deliver, hence they filed the lawsuit.
