Trump announces additional tariffs of up to 40% on five countries
Odaily News US President Trump announced that the US will impose a 25% tariff on Malaysia and Kazakhstan, a 30% tariff on South Africa, and a 40% tariff on Laos and Myanmar starting from August 1. Earlier, the White House said that Trump would sign an executive order to postpone the deadline for tariff negotiations to August 1.
