U.S. Congress kicks off Crypto Week: Lawmakers and industry engage in full-scale confrontation
Odaily News Crypto Policy Week on Capitol Hill has begun. Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana) will release an agenda today to vote on three important Republican-led crypto bills: the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act, and the Anti-Central Bank Digital Currency Act. If all goes well, the stablecoin bill without additional clauses may be delivered to the White House this week, and the other two bills will be transferred to the Senate. It is worth noting that if the CLARITY Act and the Anti-Central Bank Digital Currency Act are open to amendments, it is expected to trigger multiple rounds of voting and extended debate. Some of the proposed amendments have been published on the official website of the House Rules Committee. (Cryptoinamerica)
