BlockBeats News, September 5th. According to a recent SEC report, due to a series of "avoidable" technical failures in the agency's Information Technology Office, former Chair Gary Gensler's one-year worth of text messages have been permanently lost.
Cryptocurrency journalist Eleanor Terrett stated that these text messages included those sent and received by the former Chair via government phone from October 18, 2022, to September 6, 2023.
