Vitalik: Private messaging tools without backdoors have been widely accepted
Odaily News Vitalik Buterin posted on the X platform that the trial of Tornado Cash founder Roman Storm will be held in 10 days. Today, backdoor-free private messaging tools have been widely accepted, such as many companies and government departments often use tools such as Signal. Today, hacker attacks on centralized databases are extremely frequent. Improving privacy in other areas (including payments, identity, and artificial intelligence) is not something that needs to be balanced with security, but has become an essential part of security. I hope that the United States can lead by example and build a safer, freer, and less data-leaky world, but the first step is to send a clear signal to developers that this important work is welcome.
