ZachXBT Helps Freeze Approximately $5 Million in Assets Stolen in Brazil Central Bank Attack

Odaily News According to on-chain analyst ZachXBT, in a recent cyberattack on Brazil’s central bank service provider CM, hackers hacked into the reserve accounts of six financial institutions and converted the stolen fiat assets into cryptocurrencies. ZachXBT said the operation it participated in has helped freeze about $5 million in related funds on multiple exchanges and blockchains.
