Bitcoiner

A Bitcoiner is an individual who is a long-term advocate and user of Bitcoin. Bitcoiners are typically early adopters with significant knowledge about Bitcoin's technology and philosophy. Many Bitcoiners adopt the "HODL" strategy, meaning they hold onto their Bitcoin through market ups and downs, believing in its long-term value. While some Bitcoiners might use Bitcoin for transactions, others view it primarily as a store of value, similar to gold. The term Bitcoiner also encompasses those who contribute to Bitcoin's development, either technically or by promoting its adoption. For example, someone who has been holding Bitcoin since its early days, regularly participates in Bitcoin discussions, and supports decentralization and financial sovereignty, would be considered a Bitcoiner.
