South Australia Police Arrest 55 Suspects with the Help of Encryption App, Seize Approximately $37.9 Million in Cryptocurrencies

BlockBeats News, November 3rd, South Australia Police launched the "Ironside Operation" Phase Three after the Supreme Court ruled that AN0M interception information could be used as admissible evidence, this round resulted in the re-arrest of 55 suspects and the addition of approximately 800 new criminal charges related to drugs, firearms, and conspiracy.


The "Ironside Operation" is a joint operation launched by the Australian Federal Police and the FBI to combat organized crime. The FBI developed and controlled the encrypted communication application AN0M, distributed it to criminals through modified phones, intercepted pre-encrypted messages in secret, and shared them with law enforcement agencies for investigation.
