South Korea Introduces Stablecoin ATMs for Foreign Tourists
BlockBeats News, July 31st, according to Decrypt's report, South Korean blockchain company DaWinKS has partnered with the Kaia DLT Foundation to launch a stablecoin ATM supporting USDT cash redemption. The ATM supports cash withdrawals of USDT issued on the Kaia chain and is currently available in various tourist and retail locations. This ATM can only be used by users holding foreign passports and supports the exchange of 85 fiat currencies or recharge to local transportation cards. The project operates under South Korea's "regulatory sandbox" framework and is currently not open to local residents.
