BlockBeats News, October 24th, according to CME's "FedWatch" tool, ahead of tonight's CPI data release, the probability of a 25 basis point Fed rate cut in October is currently at 98.3%, while the probability of rates being unchanged is at 1.7%.


The probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut by the Fed by December is currently at 93.4%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 6.5%, and the probability of rates remaining unchanged is 0.1%.


The dates of the next two FOMC meetings are October 29th and December 10th.
